2023 Polar Bear Plunge
This is Austin, so you need to do two things on the first day of the year: eat some black-eyed peas and jump into Barton Springs! The natural springs pool stays at a constant 68 degrees throughout the year, so it’s typically warmer in the water.
The plan for you brave, adventurous, and typically hungover folks is to meet there at 11 a.m. and then take a group photo and video at 11:30 a.m. sharp.
When: Sunday, January 1st
Time: 11 a.m.
Location:
2131 William Barton Dr.
Austin, TX 78746
